i’d also prefer faxes to email, i’m not always here to receive my email, and the fax is a good backup for everyday orders, thank you for your concern,

  • Email is great, maybe some type of read confirmation that could show chef mod that the order was recieved (automated).

  • Our concern with e-mail and faxing is that there is no confirmation process connected to it.

it’s critical to our customers that they know their orders are coming.

We did have a suggestion of some kind of e-mail confirmation which could be possible.

  • Gio, We can accomoadate any format. By flat file, do you mean somthing that can be read on your phone without opening an attachment, or a file that can be read by your system?

We may want to consider a larger integration with you considering the volume we do with your company. This would automate the entire process. Let me know if you’ld be interested in that.

  • Thank you Micheal for your input! As you know, sending orders as an attachment on the e-mail is something we already do. The only drawback with e-mails is that it doesn’t provide a confirmation tool as well as the web portal does. We’re thinking of a way to capture the confirmation when you simply reply. We’ll keep you posted.
    Thanks again for commenting.
