30 week program

With more customers coming into the program every day, we are constantly being asked for new features and functionality.  We have been doing our best to respond to these requests and continue to add ideas to our evolving project list.  In addition to diligently working on the system itself, we thought it may be a good idea to also provide tools outside of the system that may resolve some of your short term needs.

If you’re like most chefs, managing food costs take up a lot of your time and in extreme cases could often mean the difference of keeping a job or not.  We have put together a spreadsheet to help make this a little easier.  Of course we have had many versions over the years, but this is the one that we’ve found to be the most helpful.  It allows you to track daily costs by category as well as sales.  Starting in your second week, you’ll begin seeing comparisons on the prior week.  Most businesses rely strongly on comparisons and when managing food costs, it’s no different.

If you think this would help you, we can send it to you.  Please e-mail Josh at Josh@ChefMod.com to get your copy.  It’s free!
